About Jerel Rumbley

Jerel Rumbley leverages 18 years of business management and leadership experience in his current role as corporate director at Barnes Group Incorporated. As a Global Lean Six Sigma Deployment Leader, he teaches advanced skills in program development, training, strategy alignment, and cultural transformation for global organizations. Over the course of his career, Jerel Rumbley has documented more than $40 billion in savings for his clients.

His success rooted in a strong academic background, Jerel Rumbley earned a bachelor of science in chemical engineering from Wayne State University, where he was a member of the National Society of Black Engineers (NSBE). Later, he received a master of business administration from the same university. From 2001 to 2004, Rumbley was the general manager of Meridian Automotive Services in Detroit, Michigan; his outstanding performance with the company earned him the title of 2003 Plant Manager of the Year.

Jerel Rumbley lends his support to a number of charitable organizations, among them the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, Big Brothers Big Sisters of America, and several cancer-related foundations. In his free time, he enjoys watching both college and professional basketball, as well as listening to R&B music.
